It is important to follow this order of installation for MotoHawk software, not following this may result in an incorrect installation where software does not function correctly.

  1.
    1. The first step is to create a Woodward account so you can download the software directly from their servers. Please click here to complete the registration form.
    2. Then proceed to their software download page, which can be accessed from here.
    3. The products you need to download are; MotoServerRuntime, MotoTune and MotoHawk.
      •
        • The MotoServerRuntime & MotoTune version should be identical, i.e. MotoServerRuntime 10.0.0.265 & MotoTune 10.0.0.265
        • Your MotoHawk version that you download should match with the version of MATLAB you are using. Please check the compatibility matrix here.

When installing your software ensure that you have administrator rights, and install in the following order; MotoServerRuntime, MotoTune and then MotoHawk.

  1. Once all software has been installed, use the MotoHawk Version Selector to apply the blockset to your version of MATLAB. This will enable you to see all MotoHawk related blocks in the Simulink Library Browser, which will allow you to start building your model and generate code to flash onto your module.
